Over 100 Years of Experience
Price-Helton has been serving the Auburn Valley and King Washington residents since 1911. We have provided compassionate care and unparalleled service to countless families.
Puget Sound Crematory
Most funeral homes sub-contract to third-party crematories, which can be situated in industrial-style warehouses. However, our crematory is private and under our own control. That means your loved one will never leave the shelter of our expert care.
We have carefully chosen each member of our staff to ensure that our families receive the most professional, compassionate care. Everyone at Price-Helton Funeral Home is trained to work to the highest standards our industry sets and to behave always with consideration, sensitivity and kindness.
Family Owned and Operated
In this region, which is dominated by huge chains and multinational conglomerates, we remain proudly independent. We are accountable to you, not to stockholders.
Our caring professionals understand that every life is unique, and so every funeral should be unique too. We will listen, suggest, organize, and carry out ceremonies that are comforting, meaningful, and in accordance with your wishes.
Serving All Faiths and Cultures
We care for families of all faiths, and we can provide certified celebrants for those who do not have their own religious leader. We also serve those who would prefer a spiritual or secular service.
We can create a customized, online memorial for you to share with family and friends. The memorial includes the obituary and any photographs you wish to provide. It will serve as a place for visitors to post condolences, share memories, upload photos, and light candles in honor of your loved one.
We can produce a personal tribute video that can be played at the service and online. Simply provide us with the photographs you want to include and we will transform them into a video celebration of your treasured memories. DVDs or digital files of the video are also available.
Funeral Fund Donations
We realize the expense of a funeral can be a burden. We provide the option for friends and family to make monetary donations to help cover funeral costs. These gifts can be made easily and securely online through our website, and are paid directly to the funeral home on behalf of the donor.
We make it easy for friends and family to send flowers to your home or service to honor your loved one. We have partnered with local florists to offer the convenience of ordering directly from the obituary page of our website. You can also use this feature to select the flowers you would like at the service. This is a secure way to choose beautiful arrangements from the privacy and comfort of your home.
Sharing Service Details
We reduce the stress of contacting those who need the details of the service for your loved one. We post the dates and times of the service as part of the online memorial on our website. You can then either share the memorial on your Facebook or Twitter page or copy the details from the site into an email or text. Both options give you the peace of mind that you have provided the necessary information to those who need it.
Daily Grief Support Emails
We offer one year of free daily grief support emails to the families we serve. It is important to us that we continue to comfort our families through the difficult days that the first year of grieving can bring.

The State of Washington has clarified Proclamation 20-25 regarding funerals during Phase II of the reopening plan. Governor Inslee recognizes the critical role that funeral, embalmer and cemetery licensees play during this unprecedented time. Licensed funeral homes and cemeteries may conduct funeral services in a funeral home or graveside under the following conditions:
1. Indoor occupancy is limited to 20 percent or 30 people, whichever is less, if and only if six feet of physical distancing between households can be achieved. Outdoor ceremonies are limited to 30 people, and at least six feet of physical distancing between households is required.
2. Only ceremonies are permitted, and ceremonies must follow all other provisions of the "Religious and Faith-based Organization COVID-19 Requirements."
3. Receptions are prohibited.
PLEASE KNOW: This does not affect our ability to serve families in their time of need. We are allowed to host funeral services following the guidelines in Governor Inslee’s proclamation and recommendations made by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. We remain available by telephone at 253-833-1165 24 hours a day. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
