On Friday, June 12, 2020 Jewel Vernella Gilcrease passed away peacefully at the age of 85 after a brief stay at the Auburn Hospital. Jewel was the mother of three children, Dennis, Linda, and Denise. However, in her later years many considered her as their own grandmother. She was a woman far ahead of her time balancing a career at Boeing, raising a family, and always contributing endless hours to Community Service. She was kind, and caring and always deeply concerned for her family, friends, and neighbors. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Hill and Denise Gilcrease, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A viewing will take place from 9:00-5:00 pm on July 7, 2020 at Price-Helton Funeral Home. Graveside service will take place on July 8, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Mountain View Cemetery, in Auburn, Washington.
