Obituary Ruby Armstrong, 97 of Puyallup passed away on February 8, 2018. She was born in Allegan County, Michigan on August 8, 1920. Ruby and Bill were married on April 6, 1944 in Camp Crowder, MO. Ruby was a devoted homemaker who loved to cook. Army veteran of WWII and the Korean War; a 50 year member of Crown Chapter #249 Eastern Star, member of Brown's Point Orthopedic Guild and Tiller-Toilers Garden Club; enjoyed bowling, golf, gardening, camping and travel. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Welborn (Bill) Armstrong; parents Mr. & Mrs. Nelson Warfield; sisters Mary Pukett, Betty Kopler; and brother Wayne Warfield. Survived by brothers Charles and Carl Warfield; daughters Betty Helgeson of Kent, WA, Judy Adams of Portage, MI, Diana Seeley of Puyallup, WA; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family is forever grateful to the compassionate caregivers of Life Care Center of South Hill.
