Obituary Long time Auburn resident Raymond Mortrud died at home March 31, 2019 at the age of 74. He was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Jerome P. Mortrud and Lorraine (LeDoux) Mortrud. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his wife Patricia Mortrud, three brothers and a sister. He worked as a heavy diesel truck mechanic for most of his career, drove a big rig, and built computers to his customer's specifications. Ray enjoyed spending time with his dogs - Yorkies and Westies. Ray was buried at Tahoma national cemetery in Maple Valley. A celebration of life will be held on April 26 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Renton. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or to Auburn Valley Humane Society.
