Obituary

Obituary Pauline Francis Washam passed away during the early morning of December 21, 2017 at Avalon Care Center in Federal Way. Born on March 7, 1915 she had lived almost 103 years when she left her family on earth. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents George and Alma Kester, daughter Judy Ann Giesker Washam and her Husband Raymond Leslie Washam. She leaves behind her son James Allen Washam and daughter Jo Ann Washam. Additionally, a daughter in law, Robin, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Pauline was an incredibly active and courageous women whose activities and accomplishments included raising two rowdy children to adulthood, PTA leader, donating time to Orthopedic Guild, Children's hospital and St. Matthews Episcopal Church. She began golfing at the age of 69, ensured that the town of Auburn was well equipped with knitted dish scrubbers, and always made sure spice drops were in the cabinet for her grandchildren. The loss to her family is beyond measure. She was loved by many and remains in their hearts forever.
