Obituary Mitsuko Karasawa Moser, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2019 in Auburn Washington after a brief illness at the age of 87. Mitsuko was born February 27, 1931 in Korea, where her father was working for a Japanese Company. The family returned to Japan in the late 1940's. Mitsuko subsequently found a job to use her English skills at the U.S. Eight Army Headquarters Hospital in Zama Japan, where she met and married Jack O. Moser in 1959. After they returned to the United States in 1959, they lived and worked in several states and moved to Germany for a few years before returning to settle in the Seattle Washington area. Mitsuko was always working since they did not have any children. She had a long and wonderful career working for Boeing Company in Seattle for eighteen years. One of Mitsuko and Jack's favorite pastime activities was to search the mountains for fresh wild mushrooms. She would make many special dishes using their freshly harvested deliquesces. They settled in Auburn in their retirement years, where Mitsuko enjoy attending Monday night bingo with her friends at the Rio Verde Mobile Estates. Mitsuko always had a big smile and cheerful personality. Mitsuko will be always be dearly missed by her husband Jack, her family in Japan, and many local friends. It was Mitsuko's wishes that her funeral ceremony be private.
