Kristina Seija Fogelgren, age 40, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away on Sunday evening, June 2, 2024, due to congestive heart failure. Kristina was the beloved daughter of Robert and Helena Locker. She was born in Lexington, KY, on a Sunday morning, December 25, 1983.

Kristina cherished spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. She enjoyed gardening, swimming, boating, fishing, playing sports, camping and reading poetry. She treasured her boys and her dog, Tobias. Known for her kind heart, she loved helping others and never met a stranger. Her favorite animals were polar bears.

She attended King County Schools, graduated in 2004, and went on to obtain her CNA.

Kristina was preceded in death by her MorFar (grandfather) Kjell Fogelgren. She is survived by her two sons, Jayvon and Xzia Fogelgren; her parents, Robert and Helena Locker; her Mormor (grandmother) Seija Fogelgren; her aunt, Ingrid Fogelgren; her uncle, Bjorn Fogelgren; and her cousins, Bree and Niklas Fogelgren, along with several more cousins and relatives in Sweden and Finland.

Private funeral services will be held at Sumner Voiles Funeral Chapel on June 21, 2024. A memorial or celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the World Wildlife Fund or Polar Bears International in her memory.
