Dr. Kenneth Arthur Jarvis, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many, returned to his heavenly home Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 at the age of 97. There he has been welcomed by his parents, grandparents, brothers, three wives and many other loved ones.

Kenneth lived a kaleidoscopic life. He is survived by his four children and their families, one sister, 3 brothers, many stepchildren and their families. He leaves behind many dear friends as well.

Kenneth was born in Springville, Utah on October 22, 1924 to Joseph Smith Jarvis and Mildred Boyer Jarvis. He graduated from the University of Washington with a doctorate degree in Business Administration. He had many jobs including working for Boeing and then spending many years employed by Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. He loved gardening. Kenneth was very devoted to the Arizona State Prison Ministries, serving in and strengthening that program for many years. All his life he loved pie – with or without ice cream!

A graveside memorial and dedication are scheduled for 10am on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Mesa City Cemetery located at 1212 N. Center Street, Mesa, Arizona. His son, Nathaniel Jarvis will officiate. In lieu of flowers, 'shepherd the one' in love and kindness and service as he did his entire life – loving others as the Savior Jesus Christ.
