John E. Evetts Jr who was born on June 19, 1955, passed away August 15, 2020 in the Olympia area. John was born in Seattle and spent all his life in and around Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. He graduated from High School in South Seattle. He spent his work life in the service industry working for various hotels near Sea-Tac Airport and eventually retired from a job at the airport itself. He enjoyed the sports world. He also enjoyed taking trips and just recently completed a cross country round trip by car from Seattle to Hayesville, North Carolina to visit an aunt and cousins. John was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Evetts and his parents John E. Evetts Sr and Ruby L. Evetts. He is survived by his brothers Tom with wife Diane, Ken with wife Gayle, Jeff, and Wes with wife Nancy, nephews Riley, Matthew and Kyle nieces Catie, Hali and Nina, Aunt Pauline and cousins Mike, Monroe, Roger and Theresa. At family's request there will be no services due to Covid19.
