Jimmie Walter Kramlich, age 89, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and love for his family.

Jimmie was born on November 13, 1936, in Kulm, North Dakota. He graduated from Kulm High School in 1955 and went on to attend Valley City State Teachers College in 1956. Following his studies, he taught for one year in a rural school near his hometown of Kulm, demonstrating his early commitment to serving others through education.

In 1958, Jimmie proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country with honor. After completing his military service, he relocated to Washington State and established a successful career with Farmers Insurance in Auburn, Washington. Through hard work, integrity, and dedication to his clients and community, he built a respected career that spanned decades before retiring in 1999.

Jimmie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He found great joy in family gatherings and cherished the relationships he built throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Kramlich; his sisters, Beatrice Girdler and Sandra Bales; his daughters, Tami Crampton and Nichelle Williams; his granddaughters, Shanaila Crampton and Alexis Williams; his great-grandchildren, Taishaun Crampton, Nikhya Crampton, and Domarhion Crampton; and his great-great-granddaughter, Audrena Crampton.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his son, James Walter Kramlich Jr., and his sister, Kimberly Smythe.

Jimmie will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his service to his country, his dedication to his family, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends for generations to come.
