Jerry Lamont Carter of Seattle passed away peacefully, at the VA Hospital April 27, 2020 at 1:20 am. Born September 10, 1955 to Mosell and Mary Carter. He graduated from Kennedy High School in California, class of 1973. He went to the Army in 1974 and was honorably discharged in 1979. Married July 5, 1975 to Joyce Douglas, whom later blessed him with 2 sons, Jerome Lamont Carter and Jereme Charles Latrell Carter. He had 6 grandchildren (Jazmyn) (Jada) (Jiana) to Jerome and Loliana (Lil Jereme) (Jace) (Jakobe) to Jereme and Debbie. He enjoyed football watching and playing. He loved his music old school, DJ and a great mechanic. He had a good sense of humor and was an extremely funny man. He was always ready to grill and was known on 92.5 as the Tire Guy. Jerry always like the letter J, his sons followed in the same pattern, all J's. Leaving behind older brother Mosell Carter Jr. of Ohio. Older sister Deraine Howard of Federal Way,WA. Yvonne Carter of Federal Way WA, Annette Carter of Federal Way WA, and Jacquelyn Chancy of Denver CO. Preceded in death by his father, Mosell Carter, his sister Norma Jean Johnson, Best friend/brother Jerome Chandler and niece Sabrina Howard.
