David was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Beverley, his son, Mark, grandsons David and Jordan and great-grandson Josiah. He leaves behind his children, Clark, Lori, Greg and Lisa as well as 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Those who knew him know that he was a kind, generous man who would stop anything he was doing if you needed him. He never met a stranger; everyone was considered a friend.

After retiring from the U. S. Air Force, where he served in Thailand and Vietnam during the war, he worked at Prudential Insurance, the Boeing Company and Alaska Airlines. He was also an Elder in the Community of Christ church.
