We are sad to announce the death of Dallas C. Barkubein who passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2024, at the age of 86.

Dallas graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1956. After graduating, he enlisted in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic from June 1956 to November 1957.

Dallas was an avid beekeeper, becoming interested when he was 8 years old after visiting a neighbor. Later in life, he sold his comb honey at the Auburn Farmers Market on Sunday mornings.

Dallas is predeceased by his beloved wife of 37 years Diane (Merriman) Barkubein, his parents, and his brothers. He is survived by four children from his first marriage; sons Duane (wife Pat), Dale, and Dallas, and daughter Debitha. his niece Bobbi Knapp, and his stepchildren Brenda, Gary (wife Jami), and Randy, together with 5 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren.
