In Loving Memory of Aida Molina Gonzales
September 10, 1946 – December 24, 2025
Aida Molina Gonzales, 79, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, 2025. Born in Manila, Philippines, her life's journey took her across the globe to Vancouver, Canada, Florence and Maple Valley, USA, leaving a trail of inspiration in every community she called home.
Born to Celso and Pilar Molina, Aida was a proud alumna of the University of the Philippines and served with distinction as a Professor and the Dean of Rehabilitation Sciences, mentoring generations of students, the Sunbright Program, before retiring as a Licensed Physical Therapist in 2015. In addition to her many accolades, those close to her know her for her gentle touch and sound advice, her charming wit and unconditional love and care for her family.
Aida's stories and values will be carried forward by her devoted husband, Cris, and her children: Jonathan (Cristene), the late Edward, Jenny (Marlowe), and Christine (Daniel).
She was a doting grandmother to Mickey (Jessie), Jiana (Marco), Jaeda, JR, Jewel, Anna, Emma, Noah, Jowie, and Jacob. She remains a guiding light for her many friends, colleagues, and whose lives she transformed the moment she met them.
Please join us as we celebrate her beautiful life, viewing to be held at Sumner Voiles Funeral Chapel in Sumner, WA at 6 pm and funeral mass service to follow on January 02, 2025 at St. John the Baptist in Covington, WA at 1 pm (both in-person as well as live streamed at https://www.facebook.com/sjtbcovington )
